College Planning
At Pilgrim, college planning is a personalized and student-focused process that helps each student identify their individual goals and the best way to achieve them. This program goes beyond just choosing the right colleges; it encourages students to discover their interests and what they see for their future.

Pilgrim School offers a unique approach to college planning that starts as early as 8th Grade and has proven to be highly beneficial for both students and their families. Roberto Dimas, our Director of College Planning, dedicates significant time to getting to know each student. Throughout their four years in high school, students receive personalized guidance and comprehensive counseling support. This process allows students to explore, engage, and reflect throughout their high school journey. By the time they reach senior year, they are prepared to pursue colleges that thoughtfully match their academic profiles, aspirations, talents, and interests.
Throughout the year, various college representatives visit to meet with students and discuss what their institutions offer. A few of our previous representatives include:
- UCLA
- Boston University
- NYU
- Brown University
- USC
- Rhode Island School of Design
- NYU
- Syracuse University
- Willamette University
- Bard College
- American University
- Loyola Marymount University
Our graduates matriculate at a wide range of institutions, from highly selective universities to liberal arts colleges and art schools around the world. We define success not simply by the number of acceptances earned, but by the strength of the match between each student and their chosen institution.
